REMNANTS
A series of paintings from the artist's last personal exhibition - 'Remnants: What’s left of an era buried underground' - held in Rome in November 2014, rapresenting imaginary scenes from the future of our world stricken by an unknown catastrophe and presented with following poem written by the artist:
REMNANTS
What’s left of an era buried underground
Drained.
Motionless beneath a faded sky.
This is the aftermath of a long-lasting war.
A war that, with its passing,
Has slowly engulfed the world.
Here ends man’s struggle to execute his vision.
And with man disappeared,
There remains only the opposite of all that he strove to achieve.
Stability - Trust - Fertility - Certainty - Togetherness - Transparency - Foundations - Continuity - Persistence
